30 for 30, travel mode

Here are the remaining 15 of my 30 items... The ones going in my suitcase for my work trip to Japan. For 12 days of travel, I mostly need professional daytime type wear, but there are also a couple dinner events, plus I need casual clothes suitable for long travels and for lots of pre-conference setup.

I fit all of the clothes (plus three items from my original 15) into these two of these handy packing cubes - pretty proud of my efficient packing. I have one more of them, filled with workout clothes, pjs, and a couple extra t-shirts (a clean one for the trip home is a must!).

With this efficiency I'm taking a smaller suitcase than I normally do, but I still need a decent sized one as the necessary extras add up: undergarments, the above shoes + some for exercise, toiletries, box of 200 fliers to hand out... Oh, and extra books. I consider having lots them a necessity when 13 hour flights are involved.
