I'm catching up on sleep, work, and life in general after arriving home yesterday from my week of work travel. It was a busy week - and yes, the DC weather was super hot, the obligatory conversation starter for every meeting I had - but productive, and luckily our conference center was so close to the mall that I could pop out for a few hours here and there to see some new-to-me museums. A few quick shots around DC:
at the White House | in front of a colorful Sol Lewitt wall at the Hirschhorn | with Chuck Close's President Clinton at the National Portrait Gallery | with American author portraits at the National Portrait Gallery/Museum of American Art | at the conference gala dinner at the National Building Museum, fancy dress complete with name badge
Don't name badges just ruin cute dresses! I wish there was a more stylish way to identify oneself at a conference.
ReplyDeleteOh, I know what you mean! The outfits I packed for my meeting days all had nice necklaces that kind of lost their effect a little when the name tag was added on top... always forget about that when I'm planning for these trips!
DeleteI love that one shoulder dress on you!
ReplyDeleteReally like the teal (green?) dress with the yellow clutch. :)
ReplyDeletelove the chuck close!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had fun! Where are those shorts from? So cute!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun - DC is so great! The shorts are from Ann Taylor Loft (online and currently half off here!).
