Pretty much without fail, when I have a big project that I need to work on, all I want to do are a bunch of other things that I've been putting off. Suddenly the other stuff sounds much more appealing... Case in point: the projects on my
"things to make" board have of course been sitting there undone for ages, but now that my Saturday schedule is painting, painting, and more painting of kitchen cabinets (ugh) while Peter is off at the hospital working all day, what I really want to do is some fun fall crafts. Five that are looking especially distracting to the task at hand:

Ooh, those all look like fun craft projects!! Good luck with the painting! I hope you have time for some of these projects. My weekend to-do list includes quite a bit of homework, but hopefully I'll have time for some knitting and reading as well. I hope you have a great one!!
ReplyDeleteI love the wreath and the garland! I saw a wreath like that at Target and almost bought it, but wonder if I could make my own now! And I've been wanting to make those tassel garlands for awhile now. Perfect for the holidays. Wish you lived closer so we could craft together!
ReplyDeleteI have that flannel scarf DIY pinned too, and it looks so cozy and warm! I love that wreath, I might have to add it to my potential-project list as well. Hopefully you can take a break from painting and get one of these in!
