Kendi Everyday's 30 for 30 outfit remix challenge is what got me into ever posting outfits in the first place, because I love this concept of remixing - finding different ways to wear the same pieces. It makes for smarter shopping and
wardrobe utilization, sure, but pretty much I love that it gives me permission to rewear my favorites of the moment over and over (which I kind of already did anyway). The latest favorite is this peplum jacket that I found on major sale a few weeks ago. Here are a few ways I've mixed it up to make it suitable for different occasions already:
jacket: JCrew; tee and boots: Old Navy; jeans: Gap; necklace: BaubleBar
First I did it up casual and relaxed with cuffed jeans and a white tee for working from home and errands. Then to make it a little more girly and pretty and ready for spring (because that's what you do when you get a 48 degree and sunny day in February), I paired it with some pastels and gold accents.
cords: Gap; tee: JCrew; flats: Old Navy; scarf: F21
And for a day of travel, it was comfy and warm paired with ponte pants and boots, but it still transitioned perfectly to a dinner out once I arrived
in DC.

ReplyDeleteThe darling scarf in Outfit 2! I'm dyin'. Such a feminine, balanced, lovely look. That jacket just seems way too easy to style, you look so good in all three outfits. Brava, Anne, Brava.
