five things Friday: endless espadrilles edition

Apparently this spring I can't get enough of new shoes... and especially espadrilles. While Soludos are my favorite - so many fun embroidered styles, plus my new sweet tie-up type - I've been seeing them all over the place in all kinds of shapes and colors. Five fun options:

The lemon embroidered pair is a lot like my pineapple version from last summer, with that happy bright coral background, and I can highly recommend those. At first you might not think they'd be that versatile, but I wore them SO much, and am excited to pull them back out now that we've arrived to an appropriately summer month. And for occasions not exactly appropriate for pink and pineapples, I love the range of sporty, casual, sweet, and even kinda dressy here. Espadrilles for everything and everyone!

I'm taking mine back to the beach this weekend. How about you?

Disclosure: I received Shopbop credit in partnership with Nakturnal to purchase my espadrilles but all opinions are my own.

five things Friday: stylin' sneakers edition

Just like with sweatshirts, I love how all the current offerings on the market for sneakers turn a super practical and comfortable item into a cute must-have. That best-of-all-worlds situation makes them a stylish mom essential - which is why we're featuring sneakers in our next remix linkup on Tuesday, April 12.

As inspiration, here are five varied ways to wear them - everything from white jeans to shorts to dresses to Kimi's great business sporty version with a blazer - along with affordable options of my 3 favorite sneaker types: slip-ons, white tennies, and cool New Balances.

Check out our Pinterest board for even more ideas for how to wear, and come on back on Tuesday for the #momstyleremix sneakers edition!
