five things Friday: 5 golden earrings edition

While I love a statement necklace, I tend to keep it minimal with the rest of my jewelry - basically a pair of simple stud earrings and nothing else. I also tend to never take my earrings out, so I like a simple, small, gold stud that goes with everything (and that's small enough that I can sleep comfortably in them!).

I tend to buy cheap ones though, so my current bow pair, while really cute, is tarnished after non-stop wear and in need of replacement. So since I'm in the market for a new everyday pair, I thought I'd share my 5 favorite finds:

I'm hoping that by spending a little more than my usual $15-20 will get me something a little higher quality (gold plated) that will last longer. But how to choose... which is your favorite?

    my ears are super senstive to metals, so I can only wear stainless steel or real silver, which makes it a bit difficult to buy earrings. I wear my tiffany's silver bead earrings always everyday, but I'd like a gold pair as well. I think my favorites of the ones you choose are 3 and 4. I'm interested to see what pair you'll end up getting!

    I love easy gold studs–it's pretty much what I wear every day! The ones you chose here are so pretty...I had a skull pair that I loved, but I suddenly can't find them. So sad!

    I have to be very careful about earrings, because my skin is very sensitive to metals. I pretty much wear my diamond studs every day. They were my college graduation present from my parents, so I don't even know how much they cost! I would like some other options, so I always have that on my birthday/christmas/anniversary lists. I think #4 is my favorite of the options above!

    I'm with you on the simple earrings - I'm almost always in my pearl studs! I love #3 though - they're understated but not boring :)

    Gorjana does amazing gold jewelry! I have the Chloe earrings in silver (they're flat hammered studs) and they seriously are perfect. I totally swear by Gorjana and have converted so many friends too.

    You can also find the brand on Gilt and Rue La La for less, which is always nice :)
