As we head into the weekend, I've got five links from around the internets that will help you get more of that summer loving feeling - check 'em out and enjoy!
1. The summer 2016 reading guide from Modern Mrs. Darcy is so good. After my latest reads, I'm looking for some other fun beach stuff, and based on the stuff on here that I have read, I have high hopes for the rest. Currently reading Before the Fall from the "gripping novels" category and I'm hooked.
2. What to pack for vacation summer 2016, whether you're going to a tropical island, preppy coast, or rustic seaside. (And I think you should also include one of these super fun pool floats.)
3. Kelsey's favorite icebox pie is calling my name. Something no bake, chilled, and chocolate sounds perfect for bringing to a summer BBQ, doesn't it?
4. A handy outfit builder formula (and linkup), so great for putting together more interesting outfits on those summer days when it's way too hot to layer up something.
5. 15 productive things you can do in 15 minutes or less - you know, in case you get one of those summer vacation "I'm bored" moments. But really, some of these tips are so smart to use bits of time to tackle some little things that build up - I need to get on some of that email unsubscribing and friend re-connecting.
I love a good no bake dessert, I'll save that recipe for sure - yum! Also headed to read that article in #5 right now... definitely struggling with productivity these days ;)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely grabbing that reading list. I need some new reads for our upcoming beach trip! And a 65 mile bike ride?! Dayum! Best of luck with that!!
ReplyDeleteOoh boy 65 miles, good luck! I hope the weather there is nicer than it is here because I'm sweating just thinking about that :)
ReplyDeleteLoving MMD's reading guide--I've already found some good ones on there and I have Before the Fall on my list. Also, definitely checking out that icebox pie. Yum!
Thanks for sharing these! I was planning on reading far more than I ended up doing this summer, so I still have a lot on my TBR list. However, I'll save that reading list for when I have the time again. That productivity list is also great.
