And with the cards arriving, I thought I'd share a fun way to display them that I put together for Tiny Prints last year, inspired by Pinterest of course.
This is super easy and inexpensive to do - just need a big jar or pitcher, some pine branches (can get at a garden center, or go for a walk in the woods!), and a hole punch/string to turn your family and friend's lovely cards into ornaments. These ornament-shaped Christmas cards I got from Tiny Prints last year made it even easier - they come with their own string!
Want to check out part of this year's card design? See last week's Pinterest-inspired post. And how do you display the cards you receive? I want ideas for something else to try this year!
Last year I copied your idea of making a tree on the wall with some string and hung them on the "tree" with some festive washi tape. This year I'm just sticking them straight to the wall with the same festive washi tape, but without much thought. Not as pretty as I would like - especially when Charlie hangs the card - but still fun to see all the cards up in one place.

ReplyDeleteLove it! I saved the bottom clippings of our tree and put in a milk tin with small bows.
