top 10: Amazon Prime

As would be obvious if you saw the cardboard pile in my basement, I am a frequent user of my Amazon Prime free 2-day shipping. It just comes in so handy for so many things that we regularly need around here. The top 10 of which arrive with some frequency on my doorstep would be:

1. running shoes: I find great deals on last season's colors by ordering them via Amazon - same thing with kids's shoes too, like our favorite Keens.

2. travel accessories: such as packing cubes, outlet adapters, etc. Extra handy because when I'm packing a couple of days before a trip and realize I need something like that, I have it in hand in 2 days!

3. kid pjs: I've found a couple of brands like this Vaenait that just have super cute stuff and inexpensive too, which is especially great for sweet pjs.

4. diapers: happily we're no longer purchasing these, but Amazon was great for them, with good prices to begin with and then subscribe & save deals on top of that. And of course there are a zillion other kid/baby things Amazon has helped me with regularly, from diaper pail refills to sunscreen.

5. dog food: for some reason I haaaaaate going to buy dog food. So I love it that it can just arrive to my door! I'm on a subscribe & save for that too, so I pretty much never have to think about it.

6. office supplies: love it that when I'm working on something and realize I'm out of a supply I can just hop on Amazon and order it right away, so I don't have to remember it later... and printer ink is especially nice to get on Amazon as I can find some off-brand ones that work with my printer but are way cheaper.

7. toothbrush head replacements: can't beat the price on these new toppers for our Sonicare.

8. DIY supplies: pretty much any time I get a little Pinterest-inspired DIY notion into my head I start on Amazon to see if I can find a good enough deal on something to make me actually do the project. Definitely a winner for the dino figurines and Hendrik's Valentine's Day cards.

9. camera supplies: a good place to look for lenses, and remotes that are super duper handy for taking outfit photos. I've needed a couple of replacements after losing them, so luckily they're inexpensive...

10. gifts: I still really love the new and interesting finds section of the Amazon site. It's just fun to scroll through anyway, but then it also inspires some great birthday gift ideas for family and friends, like this funny fish condo.

  2. My regular order on Amazon is my protein bars, speaking of which gotta go order some more, I wish they have a custom subscribe and save, because really I need them every 3 weeks..

  3. We love Amazon Prime too, because shipping anything here costs an arm and a leg! It's unreal! I had no idea they sold Science Diet on Amazon - going to look now! THANK YOU FRIEND!

  4. Amazon prime is the best!! We order all kinds of things on there! Just this weekend my husband got a bunch of car parts he needs for a repair - so convenient!

  5. Oh my gosh, Amazon gets so much of my money - I love having Prime. Especially since shopping can be limited where I'm at. I especially love those sweet pjs. Can I just copy all of your Hendrik wardrobe choices once my little boy is born? :)

  6. That sounds like my basement too--we're big amazon primers over here too. I've never looked for kids PJs there before, but I'm going to have to--thanks! I feel like I get spoiled by the 2 day shipping though; when I order from other places I feel a little resentful that I have to wait for more than two days, ha!
