cutout cookie recipe for the holiday season, but every once in a while it's fun to try something new, given how many occasions call for treats during the holiday season... These
chewy chocolate peppermint cookies I spotted on Pinterest are the perfect chocolate fix combined with some seasonal flair.
They have a nice chewy, brownie like texture, which is really quite nice in a chocolate cookie, and the little bit of crushed up peppermint candy is just the right touch - not too minty, but a nice complement to the cookie. Plus Hendrik had a lot of fun helping me smash them.
