So. Instead of getting crabby about it (okay, I got crabby at first), I cranked up the heat to 74 and picked out a cuter outfit, helped along by this collar necklace that I've had for ages but haven't worn in a long time. The perfect complement to a few other things that haven't seen the light of day in a while - ankles and my actual figure. Ha!
Back to regular winter programming of thick sweaters next week though, I'm sure.

It's the footwear that usually gets me. You'd think that being a born and bread Michigander, I would know what to wear on my feet during the winter. The problem is, that with my job, it's not convenient to wear snow boots and then change into normal footwear. So I'm constantly looking for something practical and stylish, which is hard to find!
ReplyDeleteI’m in a skirt and (fleece lined) tights today. I didn’t feel like wearing it this morning but we have had a little reprieve in our cold weather so I had to take advantage of it. Like you, tomorrow will be back to as many layers as possible, I’m sure!
ReplyDeleteI've been crabby about the weather too! Not to mention feeling less than motivated about dressing cute. Function has certainly been winning out over fashion -- but that's life right?
ReplyDeleteHey, sometimes you just have to crank up the heat and pretend it's not cold and miserable outside. And put on a cute, but still comfy, outfit. Love this one, especially the fun collar necklace!
ReplyDeleteI love that sweater. Is that a bib necklace or is the collar attached? You look just gorgeous and I love how you styled it!

I love the extra high fold on these jeans and the necklace. So simple and yet it has such pizazz! Hang in there for warmer temps, pretty lady!
ReplyDeleteThat necklace is perfect for the outfit! But I hear you, it gets old dressing for the ridiculous cold weather!
