wearing lately: olive it still

A few weeks ago I professed how into the color olive I was feeling - and I'm here to say, olive it still. Enough that I may have acquired the sweater I featured in that round-up post. Did I say "may have"? Actually, I meant ... I did.

A favorite fall outfit this year was my black & white gingham button-down with an olive cargo jacket on top - so now that we're getting into the more wintery part of fall, I am duplicating it in a warmer version: black & white striped turtleneck with olive roll-neck sweater on top (and then big puffy coat on top of that of course). And from here on out it will be the new heavy duty (but still cute!) Sorel wedge boots, but I couldn't resist one last spin in my favorite comfy flats while the ground was just wet, instead of snow-covered.
