There's plenty of birthday party planning/purchasing going on, with Hendrik's festivities planned for next weekend - like a very fun pinata for the tropical bird-day party we're having at home with family, and some feather quill pens for him and his friends to check off their finds on our bird watching nature hunt. Aren't they a fun party favor? I'm also getting some inexpensive binoculars and some trail mix bars to go with them, to suit the bird watching/hiking theme. Now we just need some good weather for that day...
And then the list is rounded out with December's buddy read with Dana (only $7.99! read along and join our linkup!), a refill on our go-to "power snack" after long bike rides, and a pair of gym shoes for Hendrik to leave at school - perfect because they're easy to get on with no tying needed but aren't all "little kid" looking with velcro.
Still in my cart are this kids' Alexander McCall Smith book (we loved the first in the series) and this fun but still decor-matching fall pillow (thanks to Sarita for the recommendation). At those prices, they might not stay in my cart for long... what's in yours these days?
