picking: my Christmas card design. I've known since June what photos I want to use for it this year, so duh, why not just get the design selected and ordered early? Thinking this or this option from Shutterfly, and loving this display idea I spotted on Pinterest. And I even remembered to pre-order some stamps while I'm at it!
preparing: for some bathroom demolition! Here's hoping that we don't run into any snags in reaching this inspiration...
trying: to come up with some good meatless dinner options (thinking about cutting consumption for environmental reasons, mainly) - that also satisfy the appetite of a husband and the tastes of a 6-year-old. I don't know about them, but all of the above would be satisfied for me when it comes to these cauliflower schwarma buddha bowls.
feeling: cold, all the dang time. And it's barely even November! Hazard of working from home in a drafty old house, in part - and makes me feel like I need to pile on all the layers (especially the Madewell ones like this!). Might well be treating myself to a new coat that's warm and cute to help cope.
following: some more bookstagrammers on Instagram. I did some culling of my following list to get rid of a bunch of random stuff that I ended up on because of giveaways and such, and repopulated with a few book beauties, such as @fictionmatters - I mean, how's that for a great stack?! I adored Circe and A Place for Us and Little Fires Everywhere, and so I want to read the others she recommends for sure.
Also, in the spirit of the November season around here, feeling thankful to have you all participate with this little linkup every month. I appreciate all of your comments and interest in joining in this community!
You can link up this month's post below, and then be sure to join me for my favorite one of the year, going up on December 4, all about our seasonal happenings: wrapping, baking, lighting, sending, and enjoying.
