five things Friday: open tabs edition

Surely I am not alone in constantly having 12-15 tabs open on my internet browser, right? I feel like Peter looks at me askance if he ever uses my computer and sees it, but between having several online submission systems and email access points that I deal with for work, and then a bunch of things I am always researching/pondering from online shops (whether to buy for the house or my closet), and then on top of that some blog posts/news stories that I still want to read or comment on. It's just necessary, okay?

Here are just 5 of the things that are sitting open in my browser this week:

1. The Amazon cold brew maker that will totally make your summer: have been very into cold brew lately and thus just have ordered my own cold brew maker, which meant I needed to leave this handy post open to reference the tips on how to do it, once my item arrives!

2. The not-my-style list: because I loved reading Kimi's list so much and want to remember to make my own - especially fun to think about after having gone through some boxes old photos recently and finding a few cringe moments seeing my fashion choices of old...

3. Everything I read in July 2020: Grace's roundup has some really great selections this month, and I need to get some of these titles officially added to my Goodreads list before I forget! I'm especially interested in They Wish They Were Us, to satisfy my never-ending YA mystery craving.

4. Bamboo bath mat: because as much as I love this rug that I got for the newly remodeled bathroom, I am wondering if we still need something else to step on right out of the shower - so this tab sits there while I ponder.

5. Target shopping cart: we got the school supply list this week and I added everything to my cart, but who knows if there's even a point to ordering? September 1 feels very far away in pandemic times, so I've just left the tab there without clicking anything final. (By the way, very enterprising of Target to have a whole section for "at-home learning" on their site now, eh?)

And now I'm going to mentally check out from all of these tabs and the work ones too, while we head off to the cottage and I leave my laptop behind in my home office for the weekend! Hope you get to turn off some tabs in your brain for a few days too.
