tradition: strawberry pie, of course! We make this all June, every June in my family.
date night: we had several really good ones, including my birthday dinner and also a brewery outing/hotel overnighter. But our 4th time seeing our favorite, The Avett Brothers, definitely tops the list.
trend: I've tried a couple of new ones lately, including one-shoulder and off-the-shoulder, but I'm especially loving the romper - fixes all of the things I hate about shorts, and includes all of the things I love about dresses. Perfect!
beauty buy: I'm pretty makeup stupid, so this 3-in-one eye lash primer, liner, and mascara from It Cosmetics that I picked up on a whim at Ulta is pretty great. I wear mascara, but never primer, and I'm terrible at putting on eyeliner, so I feel like I'm getting it all, and I can actually do it in one step!
bike accessory: I love my gear, but what I love the most now is the Weehoo we just got and have been doing some great family bike rides with. It attaches as a trailer to mom or dad's bike, but the kiddo gets to pedal (and it actually helps out a lot when he does!), but unlike a regular tag-along trailer, he's strapped in and safe. We've gone up to 16 miles with Hendrik so far, and it's so much fun for all of us.
My July is off to a not-favorite start, as this holiday weekend for most is all work for me while I'm away at a conference for the entire week... enjoy it for me, ok?
