A "now" outfit (in theory...this is Michigan, after all) of any sort gets layered with one of my several beloved spring-weight jackets. With this blouse, I love how the colors look with my mossy brown downtown field jacket, but I'm sure I'll be pairing it with my denim jacket and my leather jacket too, because I'm going to be wearing this blouse to death...
...especially because it works so great for "later" with some white jeans. Super simple outfit, but the blouse details, with the silhouette, ruffle sleeves, and of course pretty pattern, just makes it an outfit with no work involved.

That "now" ensemble is coming with me to California next week - and was in fact the inspiration for my whole mix & match suitcase... stay tuned for the rest!

You said it perfectly - those details make it an outfit without any other work involved! Can't wait to see your packing post! :)
ReplyDeleteLove this blouse, looks great on you! I think I might NEED one too :)
ReplyDeleteOhh! I love the sleeves! I seem to go in phases with buying what other bloggers are wearing. I'll go months and months without being tempted but every once in awhile I apparently need to buy everything that everyone else is wearing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty blouse! I would wear that to pieces too! Love the field jacket as well - all those pockets and buttons! Swoon!

That is a great blouse, and with the pretty details it doesn't need much else, which I love! I love both ways you have it styled here, and I can't wait to see the mix and match suitcase!!
ReplyDeletePerfect Michigan spring outfit!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I *LOVE* that blouse! And if it makes you feel better, you're the first blogger I've seen wear it. ;)
ReplyDeleteOooo I really love your style. Looking forward to seeing more! x
