Never Have I Ever: Joshilyn Jackson is on my select list of authors whose books I pre-order (the others being Tana French and Kate Atkinson), so this brand-new release is on my physical shelf to be read very soon. The description promises a plot full of twists and turns, and I cannot wait.
I Miss You When I Blink: I've heard such good things about this collection of essays, and it's been forever since I've read something in this genre, that it sounds like a great change of pace. I love it when authors have relatable essays that give voice to some of the things I'm feeling about parenting or adulthood, and the reviews give me high hopes for being entertained but also seen and heard.
Red, White & Royal Blue: what can I say - I'm a sucker for a royal romance, and then one that got great blurbs from some current go-to fun fiction authors (Taylor Jenkins Reid and Christina Lauren), I think this sounds like it might be right up my escapist reading alley!
The River: the literary wilderness survival thriller aspect combined with the promised beautiful writing (which I can vouch for from having read his book The Dog Stars) caught my attention right away, so I'm excited to check this one out.
Stone Cold Heart: always looking for something in the vein of Tana French or Kate Atkinson's Jackson Brodie series to scratch that itch, I enjoyed Caz Frear's Sweet Little Lies quite a bit - the UK setting, female detective with a family history that's getting tangled in a current investigation type stuff gave me Tana French vibes. Excited that there's this new follow-up out now (especially because I just finished the new Jackson Brodie book and I need a new fix!).
What's topping your to read list right now? I was inspired by this TBR Mix & Mingle linkup to share mine, and of course seeing the other posts there has only increased the size of it...
