Spring = light jackets, and I love it! Especially how in this outfit an olive military jacket feels fresh (rather than the dreaded winter drab) with a crisp white blouse underneath, and a white crossbody to coordinate. And bare toes! I wore this for a date night last spring, and just looking at this makes me want to schedule a babysitter for this week...
You might think that pastel pink or purple would be what screams "spring", but I contend that it is chambray + white. Guaranteed I repeat this one every year, given how darn classic it is, and given how much it just makes me want to fling my arms wide and burst into spring song. The hillllssss are aaaallivvve....
I live in my fit + flare dresses all summer, but spring can provide this great sweet spot of being able to layer a denim jacket over top - an all-time favorite look for me. And with some embroidered espadrilles (Soludos always has such great ones), it's extra fun.
Last month I posted a couple of stripes + florals combinations for the winter to spring transition time, but this favorite pattern mix is all spring in this version, with the lighter jeans, nude flats, and plenty of pink in the floral scarf. I've got it on repeat again with my Petit Bateau striped shirt!
